This was a big shift from our previous home page(s) which were constantly being updated as a reaction to competitors, internal requests, and not centric to the user experience. One of the things that were a big challenge was always having to feature these announcements/requests "above the fold". https://netapp.com
**The ‘latest’ band was designed to address this while giving internal requests/announcements a place to live while not disrupting the home page experience and story flow. The time on page and conversion rate have drastically improved. We are continuing to iterate on this weekly.
